Sol Invictus got its start as a PvP guild formed by Flec and Eldest. However, not long after the introduction of Burning Crusade we decided to trial PvE raiding. After recruiting its initial team of raiders, SI logged 6 boss kills on its first venture into Karazhan. Our Success continued into Sunwell marking ourselves as one of the few guilds to see Kil'Jaden fall during the BC expansion. Since then, SI has been focused on PvE content and has maintained itself as one of the highest ranking raiding guilds on Thrall-US in either faction.

The guild brought down much of the content of Wrath of the Lich King. 25-man Naxxramas knelt under our weight both normal and heroic. Alliance server first Sartharion 3D quickly fell as well. We completed most of the Ulduar hard modes, Trial of the Grand Crusader, and Icecrown Citadel. Like most guilds of it's kind during the time, most of our raid team moved onto other guilds or took a break towards the end of WotLK.

SI’s raiding made a comeback a few weeks into Cataclysm. Experienced veterans and new members alike formed a solid, strong raiding core. The tradition of success built on talented players, good attitude, and a dash of questionable humor was fully renewed. The process of shaking off the rust took some time, but SI persevered and took down all Cataclysm raiding content, including many heroic bosses.

After moving to Deadwood SI and WoW parted ways shortly into Mists. Some members are back and looking to renew the guild tag and make Sol Invictus a known name again.

The members of Sol Invictus are proud to wear its guild tag and determined to reach the pinnacle of World of Warcraft content.  We currently raid on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30p-11:30p Server time.
